This is a crucial step. Don't skip it, and don't do it halfheartedly. Simply write down the name of every single person you know--without prejudging them. That means, don't skip a name because "She is not the sales type," "He makes too much money." "He'd never be interested in this," or "I don't have the courage to talk to her." Simply write down the name of every person you know.
